Brink and Concord Mines
Southeast Virginia
Performed wetland delineations/confirmations for wetlands and waters of the U.S. at both the Brink and Concord sites, impacting approximately 3,200 acres between the two sites. Coordinated with the US Army Corps of Engineers to facilitate temporary wetland crossings for access roads and pipe infrastructure carrying mined slurry from the sites to operations facilities. Additional federal permits, and/or modifications to existing individual permits, were also obtained relative to these crossings.
