Ray Road Infrastructure Improvements
City of Mesa, AZ
Bowman staff provided civil engineering design for both water and sewer mains for the City of Mesa. The project consists of approximately 5,000 linear feet of 20” water transmission main (WTM), 10,000 linear feet of 24” WTM, and 2,000 linear feet of 30” WTM in Ray and Hawes Roads, and approximately 10,000 linear feet of 27” sewer trunk line and 6,200 linear feet of 24” sewer trunk line in Ray Road between Ray and Ellsworth Roads. Quality Assurance/Quality Control was also provided for approximately 10,000 linear feet of 36’ storm drain. This project is challenging due to the right-of-way construction easements required and the necessary ADOT coordination for the WTM passing under Loop 202.
