Bowman Consulting Group Joins Forces with Creech Engineers

Acquisition extends service territory of Bowman to Florida market

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. today announced continued growth into the Southeastern United States through the acquisition of the operations and assets of Creech Engineers, Inc., a leading engineering and survey firm with offices in the Florida cities of Stuart, Melbourne, Tallahassee and Port Saint Lucie. In connection with this move, all employees of Creech become part of the Bowman Consulting team. With the addition of Creech, Bowman Consulting now serves an expanded national client base with over five hundred professionals located in thirty offices throughout thirteen states.

“Creech Engineers is a well-known and respected firm with a top-notch staff,” said Gary Bowman, CEO of Bowman Consulting Group. “We’ve been working collaboratively with Creech Engineers for many years and are thrilled to have consummated this deal by which we formally join forces. Florida is a dynamic and rapidly growing market and we foresee significant opportunities throughout the state for the foreseeable future. This is one more step in Bowman’s expansion, which has transformed us from a regional engineering firm focused on real estate development into a multi-disciplined professional services firm with a national footprint. Today, Bowman possesses a broad array of expertise ranging from oil and gas to water and wastewater management with specialized capabilities in mining, transportation and structures, real estate development, environmental impact management and multi-terrain survey services. Having Rick Creech and his staff join the Bowman team will undoubtedly lead to an acceleration of our growth and we’re lucky to have them aboard.”

“Everyone at Creech Engineers is excited about our future as part of the Bowman team,” said Richard Creech, CEO of Creech Engineers. “Having built Creech Engineers from the ground up and having operated it as an independent firm for twenty-five years, I was very selective about with whom to join forces and who I felt would be a good steward of our invested efforts,” continued Creech. “Over the past several years, Bowman has demonstrated a singular ability to manage the many challenges of rapid organic and acquired growth. This is definitely a case where the value of the combined operations exceeds the sum of their individual parts.”

Over the past twelve months, Bowman has advanced its national expansion strategy with acquisitions and cold starts in Austin, Texas; Chicago, Illinois; San Jose, California; Charleston, South Carolina; Cadiz, Ohio and now Southern Florida. Creech Engineers will operate under its current brand through the remainder of the year after which it will transition to Bowman Consulting. Rick Creech, who joins the company’s board of directors, will initially oversee the transfer of day-to-day management of Bowman's South Florida operation to Jesse Goldfarb before transitioning into his new role as a national manager of business development for Bowman.
