Bowman Consulting and Hawkins Agree to Combine Business

Chantilly, VA - Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. and H. Aubrey Hawkins & Associates, a Fredericksburg-based engineering and surveying firm have entered into an agreement whereby Bowman will acquire the assets of Hawkins and Associates in a transaction scheduled to close in early February.

This transaction will mark the formal opening of Bowman's eighth office which will serve the Fredericksburg region as well as areas stretching south to Richmond and west to Culpeper. This full service office will be staffed by over thirty professionals and will bring Bowman's overall staff to over 300.

Aubrey Hawkins will remain with the firm as Managing Principal. "We are looking forward to building on the already successful relationships that we have established over the past 15 years. Bowman brings a tremendous depth of resources that will enable us to work on the largest and most complex projects in the region", said Hawkins.
