Mark King Joins Bowman Consulting as Regional Leader
Chantilly, VA – Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. (Bowman) announced that Mark King joined the firm as a Southern Regional Manager to lead operations in central and southern Virginia. As a 26-year veteran within Virginia land development markets, King brings experience, relationships and leadership skills to the firm’s Fredericksburg office, and regional offices including Richmond, Williamsburg and Virginia Beach, Virginia, as well as Edenton, North Carolina.
Prior to joining Bowman, King ran the Fredericksburg, Virginia office of Greenhorne & O’Mara as a vice president and stockholder. During his 24-year career with the firm, he ran one of the most successful offices, and built relationships with over 100 regional and national development organizations and homebuilders, as well as numerous municipalities, law firms and brokers. His experience spans the region, including Stafford, Fairfax, Prince William, Spotsylvania, Orange, Culpeper, Fauquier, King George, Westmoreland, City of Falls Church, City of Alexandria, Arlington, Caroline and Hanover counties.

King holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He is the past chairman of the Stafford County Architectural Review Board, and is a member of the Fredericksburg Area Builders Association, the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce, the North Virginia Building Industry Association and the Fredericksburg Regional Alliance. He lives in Stafford County with his wife Lisa and their two children, Jessica and Phillip.
