Bowman Consulting Enters Southwest Market; Merges With Phoenix-based Vantage Resources
National expansion adds fuel to 18-month growth curve
Chantilly, VA — Metro D.C.-based Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. (Bowman), a full-service land development, energy and infrastructure service firm, has entered the Southwest market through a merger with Phoenix-based Vantage Resources, LLC. Founded in 2009, Vantage Resources was formed by three leaders of the well-known, Phoenix-based engineering firm CMX and is known for its land development and public works portfolio throughout the state of Arizona.
“We are excited that this opportunity has come to fruition,” says Gary Bowman, president of Bowman Consulting. “Greater Phoenix will continue to evolve as a market, and is tremendously attractive to our long-term expansion objectives.”
Over the past 18 months, Bowman has seen sustained growth through the implementation of a long-range plan focused on geographic expansion, service diversification and talent acquisition. The result has been 30-percent revenue growth, increased market share in the traditional and renewable energy sectors and jumping over 100 points on the ENR Top 500 Design Firms list, an industry staple, to #306.
Vantage will now operate as “A Bowman Company,” maintaining its existing identity as Vantage Resources, LLC. Current staff in Tempe and Mesa and will continue to operate from both locations. Offering civil engineering, land planning, land surveying, water/wastewater, environmental and construction management, Vantage is known for developing residential subdivisions, retail developments, water reuse systems, sewer infrastructure projects and master plans throughout the state.
