Donavon Corum Joins Bowman Consulting As
Director Of Planning
Chantilly, VA – Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. (Bowman) announced the hiring of Donavon Corum, RLA, AICP, LEED AP as the director of planning in the firm’s Annapolis, Maryland office. An established technical and business leader, Corum is a strategic addition to the firm’s existing design team.
Prior to joining Bowman, Corum was the managing member of Design Core Studio LLC, actively engaged in civic space design, master planning and design and conceptual landscape architecture for projects in the Mid-Atlantic region, and several cities in China. Through experience with other design firms, Corum has contributed to community and project design efforts throughout North America.

Corum graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Landscape Architecture, and is a registered landscape architect, a certified planner and a LEED AP professional. He is a member of the American Planning Association and the U.S. Green Building Council, and holds active positions on local design, planning and conservation committees and task forces. He has been a presenter at the American Planning Association’s National Conference and the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) International Builder’s Show.
